Just got my copies of the April issue of Clubhouse Jr. I had the pleasure of illustrating a story for this issue. The story is about Greek Easter. Part of the fun of this job is getting to draw new things and learn about new subjects. For this particular project, I had to do a bit of research. I'm familiar with the Easter we have here in the United States but I discovered how little I knew about the Greek Easter. Along with the traditional red painted eggs, they also celebrated with fireworks at midnight.
The story is about a game kids play there where they would hit their egg together and whichever egg did not crack would get a prize. I really enjoyed working on this story.
